Adding and managing staff members

With Sharesight Pro, not only can you share access with your clients, you can add and manage staff members.

Note: This page applies only to Sharesight Pro partners.

Access options:

Owner level: The staff member will have full access to this account including the ability to add additional staff members.

Manage Billing: The staff member will be able to update billing and view invoices.

Add Portfolios: The staff member will be able to create additional portfolios.

Manage Custom Groups: The staff member will be able to create, update and delete custom groups.

Make Sharesight champion: This colleague will be the main contact person for the Sharesight account.

How to add a colleague to the Sharesight Account

1 - From the Dashboard, click ‘Staff’ tab.

2 - From the ‘Staff’ page, you will be able to view colleague with existing staff access (along with the type of access they have), change the type of access, view pending invitations to staff, and add staff members.

3 - Clicking on ‘Add Staff Member’.

]’ ]’ ]\Fill out the required fields (name, email, etc.), choose the type of access they will have and whether or not they have access to all or selected portfolios.

Manage Staff access and details

1 - On the ‘Staff’ page.

2 – Click the ‘Edit’ button next to any of the staff members’ names.

3 - Edit the type of access and their details.

4 – Click ‘Save changes’.

Adding and Managing Staff Members

Once on the ‘Dashboard’, click ‘Staff’. From the ‘Staff’ page, you will be able to view employees with existing staff access (along with the type of access they have), change the type of access, view pending invitations to staff, and add staff members.

Clicking on ‘Add Staff Member’ will bring you to the following page. Here, you will need to fill out the required fields (name, email, etc.), choose the type of access they will have, and whether or not they have access to all or selected portfolios: Adding and Managing Staff Members

Back on the ‘Staff’ page, you may click the ‘Edit’ button next to any of the staff members’ names, and edit the type of access they have, along with any of their details.

Having difficult adding a colleague <aname=”1”></a>

If you receive the error:

‘A user with this email address already exists’

It means that the colleague already has a Sharesight account set up using that email address, they need to cancel that account or change the email address of that account. If the colleague cannot access the account please contact support at support@sharesight.com.
