Labels
By creating and applying labels to holdings in your Sharesight portfolios you are able to report on specific subsets of holdings within a portfolio, creating custom filtered Performance Reports.
Labels can be anything you like and holdings can have more than one label assigned to them. For example, you could label your holding based on which broker or advisor recommended them and also label them based on investment profile, e.g. income vs growth, to really customise the Performance Report.

Creating and applying labels
Labels can be created and applied within the Settings Tab, Performance Report and on the Individual Holding Page.
Applying labels from the Settings tab
1 — From any page click on the Settings tab.
2 — Select the Label.

3 — Type in the label name.

4 — Select the holding which you would like to apply the label to.
5 — Click on the Create Label button.
In the Performance Report
1 — From any page click on the Report tab.

2 — Click the Performance Report tile.

3 — Click on ‘Filter by Label' dropdown.

4 — Click on the Manage button.

5 — Type in the label name in the New Label field.

6 — Select the holdings which you would like to apply the label to.
7 — Click on the Create Label button.

Applying labels from an Individual Holding Page
1 — On the Holding’s Individual Holding Page, click the Summary tab and select Manage Labels.

2 — Type in the label name in the New Label field.

3 — Select the holdings which you would like to apply the label to.
4 — Click on the Create Label button.

Applying an already created label to holdings
1 — Within the Labels setting on either the Performance report or the Individual Holding Page select the holding you wish to apply the label to.
2 — Click on the Attach button next to the label you wish to apply.

Deleting a label
1 — Click on the bin icon next to the label to delete label. ![]()

1 — Click on the bin icon within the holding to delete label from the holding. ![]()
