Choose how your performance is reflected.

Your Sharesight portfolio performance positions default setting is Open Positions.

From the toggle on the settings menu, choose to either see your performance in:

Open Positions

Show Open Positions Only

Only the holdings you currently own, your current exposure to the markets.

This allows you to directly assess the impact of market movements on the holdings (or partial holdings) that are affected. Performance figures for holdings that have been partially sold are presented only in relation to the number of shares that are currently owned.

Note that holdings that have been completely sold will not be displayed on the Portfolio Overview page.

Example: Portfolio – 1 holding: Amazon Buy trade: 1000 shares on 28th January 2013 Sell trade: 500 shares on 19th April 2016

Open Position

All trades are in the performance calculation including sold shares.

Open & Closed Positions is calculated from the date the holding was bought until today’s date, including the gain/ loss from any Sells.

Note that the quantity and value columns relate to the current quantity and value, therefore display zero for holdings that have been completely sold.

Example: Portfolio – 1 holding: Amazon Buy trade: 1000 shares on 28th January 2013 Sell trade: 500 shares on 19th April 2016
