Content also available for tax entities or on our global site.There are several ways to add your historical trading data to your Sharesight portfolio. A reliable option is the csv file upload. To assist you in retrieving the data from the above-mentioned brokers please follow the instructions below. Please also note that our import feature will help you to format the file and ensure that all necessary data is processed for you.

Please follow the steps below to retrieve your historical transactions file from Commsec:
Login and go to the Portfolio tab and click into the specific account that you’d like to add to Sharesight.
Next click on the Transactions tab and set the date range wide enough to include your entire trading history for Sharesight to be able to calculate your lifetime performance.
3. When the data is displayed on the screen click the spreadsheet link to download the file.
You also have the option to import your historical buy and sell trades to Sharesight directly from your CommSec account.
Download the spreadsheet file from my NAB trade account?
Please follow the steps below to retrieve your historical transactions file from NAB trade:
Login to your NAB trade account and navigate to the Trading tab at top of page.
From the drop-down > select Confirmations.
Next set the date range. Set it wide enough to include your entire trading history for Sharesight to be able to calculate your lifetime performance.
When the data is displayed on the screen click the spreadsheet link to download the file.
You also have the option to import your historical buy and sell trades to Sharesight directly from your nabtrade account.
How do I download the spreadsheet file from my Westpac account?
- Login to your Westpac account and click My Account
- Click Holdings & Accounts and set the date range wide enough to include your entire trading history for Sharesight to be able to calculate your lifetime performance.
- Then ‘Download spreadsheet’ link to download the file.
You also have the option to import your historical buy and sell trades to Sharesight directly from your Westpac account.
Upload the spreadsheet file to my Sharesight portfolio?
You’ll need to do some simple formatting within the spreadsheet file in order for Sharesight to recognise the data and columns.
Important note on useage limits – Sharesight is designed for investors. Due to the real-time nature of our performance calculations, Sharesight is not suitable for active traders with large trading volumes. Sharesight is limited to a maximum of 300 trades per holding and works best with less than 3000 trades per portfolio. Our spreadsheet import tool allows a maximum of 500 trades per spreadsheet file.
